All metals may tarnish overtime without proper care, but there is a great deal you could do to slow down this process!

Firstly avoid contact with liquid such as water, salt water, perspiration, soap or perfume. You could wipe your trinkets with a dry cloth after every wear to prevent them from being tarnished by sweat.

Most importantly when you're not wearing them, keep them in an air tight container to minimize oxidation. For example, in metal boxes. You don't really have to source for high-quality containers. Alternatively, you could keep them in Zip Lock bags, sealed.

We know how we like to hang out our accessories to look nice and prevent them from getting tangled, but this is not advisable if you want your trinkets to remain nice and shiny for a long time!
